Health Means Business




The Health Means Business campaign is made possible through a $1.7 million grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Managed by the Chamber Foundation’s Corporate Citizenship Center, the initiative seeks to foster both a national and local dialogue on the role business can play in promoting community health.











Our goals are to create an enlightened national discussion which engages small, medium, and large businesses about the interdependency between health and economic empowerment, and to promote a culture of health in the United States. In addition, we hope to create a framework for continued dialogue with our community partners that will take us beyond 2017.

The campaign will travelto ten communities through forums held at local and regional chambers of commerce. The purpose of each forum is to engage local businesses and other key community stakeholders in discussions about health, education, and economic outcomes, and to encourage increased business involvement in building healthy communities.
